Have you ever wanted to give back and offer your expertise to a charity? Not sure what being a Trustee involves, or whether you have the time?
This is your opportunity to find out. It might even be the first step on your journey to becoming a Trustee. If you are at an earlier stage in your career, you may instead want to support a charity through volunteering, fundraising, or raising awareness of a cause close to your heart in an ambassadorial capacity.
Many charities are in need of people with expertise in professional services. In today’s challenging economic environment, there has never been a greater need for people with the energy, enthusiasm, and skills to make a meaningful contribution, whether through legal advice, accountancy expertise, marketing guidance, or leveraging networks to support fundraising.
A charity board typically meets four times a year, and a Trustee’s commitment is usually no more than six hours a month, but your impact can be immeasurable.
